Joël Knoery, IFREMER, France
Joël Knoery is a senior scientist at Ifremer, and a chemical oceanographer by training. He uses marine biogeochemistry and analytical chemistry as tools to improve our understanding of natural and anthropogenic processes undergone by oceanic mercury and other trace metals. As part of his research activities, he has authored or co-authored over 130 scientific publications and graduated 3 Ph.D. students who are now happily employed.
